About Extremewest

In 2001 a soldier from Devon, having recently retired from years of active service, recognised that South West England had the greatest concentration of superlative experience days in the country but with little opportunity for people to easily find them.

His experiences on the front line led him to believe that everybody should do at least one amazing thing each year - and thus Extremewest was born.

Offering experience gifts was not an original idea, nor was Extremewest the biggest provider in the country - far from it - but that was never his intention. Quality, for him, was an absolute priority and he scoured the West Country, from The Cotswolds to Cornwall, for the very best activities to offer, testing every single experience himself to ensure it met his demanding standards for excellence and value for money.

More than a decade later his ethos has carried strong. The dedicated team at Extremewest strive to provide only those experiences that absolutely carry the WOW factor! - If an experience doesn´t have the ability to awe, thrill, excite or delight then it will not appear on this site.

Over 90% of the experiences we offer are located within the South West Quarter of England, meaning you never have to travel too far to reach one of our locations - and that´s a bonus our customers find really useful!
